   Chartered on April 16, 1996, Delta Sigma Phi has quickly made a name for itself as a premier fraternity at the University of Kentucky.  Our brothers excel in every aspect of Greek life at UK including academics, athletics, and philanthropy.  "Delta Sig" has one of the strongest presences on campus - with our brothers holding numerous positions in various organizations including Student Government, Interfraternity Council (IFC), Inter-Greek Programming Assembly (IGPA), Student Athletic Council, and the UK Center for Community Outreach.

   This Fall 2008 Rush was the most successful in our chapter's history.  Fourty-five bids were accepted, making this pledge class (Alpha Eta) the second largest at The University of Kentucky.  Also, this extraordinary number makes this Fall pledge class the largest in the nation for the Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity.  The hard work that the Brothers put in, the awesome results and the distinct quality of this pledge class show that Delta Sigma Phi is a premier fraternity at UK.  We are breaking records here at Kentucky and in the National Fraternity.  Congratulations to the Brothers of Delta Sigma Phi, Theta Mu Chapter, for an awesome job this Fall Rush!

Fall Rush 2010

We are always striving to find men that wish to better themselves and have characteristics that exemplify those of our Brotherhood.  Next semester Delta Sig will be rushing out of the Sigma Kappa house in sorority circle in an effort to find men such as these.  During this week we would like to see as many new faces as we can and would love to meet you as you look for your place in the UK greek system. During the week we will be host to several sororities on campus including Alpha Omicron Pi, Kappa Delta, Kappa Alpha Theta, Delta Zeta, Alpha Gamma Delta, Delta Delta Delta and Kappa Kappa Gamma. This will be a great time for us to get to know any person interested in Greek life as well a time for you to enjoy yourself with food, music, games and friends.  We hope to see you at our new fraternity house (321 Columbia Terrace, Sorority Circle) the first week of school every evening at 7.

Hazing Policy:  The men of Delta Sigma Phi, Theta Mu, will not be involved in, nor will we condone, any act of hazing administered to a pledge in our Fraternity.  Unlike many other fraternities, we refuse to break you down as a person and humiliate or cause you bodily harm only to call you our 'Brother' a few short weeks later.  The very notion of hazing and what it represents is rediculous, and our stance on this matter makes us head and shoulders above many other fraternities at UK - and we're not afraid to say it, either.

Brotherhood:  Again, we of Delta Sigma Phi believe we are among the top in this aspect of Greek Life at The University of Kentucky.  We recognize that there are high quality guys outside of Lexington and the surrounding area, so we, unlike some fraternities on campus, do not care where you are from.  There is a strong showing of native Kentuckians in our Fraternity, as well as a large number of Brothers hailing from out of state.  Currently, we have Brothers from Alabama, California, District of Columbia, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Texas.  We are an upper mid-sized fraternity, meaning we are large enough to make a substantial impact on campus and to have the name recognition that is vital in the Greek Community, but we are not too large as to make it difficult to create strong bonds with each Brother in the Fraternity.
